Satheesh Madhathil has filed his nomination papers with the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters and qualified for the ballot in the November 3 general election.
His name will appear under Cupertino Union School District Governing Board. Three of the board’s five seats are on the ballot this year, and the seats are elected at large, so every voter in the district votes on the same candidates.
“I’m grateful to everyone who signed, volunteered, and encouraged us to get to this point,” Madhathil said. “Now the real work begins: talking with families across the district about what our schools need.”
